Emergency Re-pot - No.15 Japanese Larch

Got this Japanese Larch in May, and it was quickly claimed by my girlfriend. She removed most cones and some weeds.

Removed from pot, some roots loosened, so they can be tucked under and into the new pot, rather than removed

But it also has a broken pot and 2 Cotoneasters growing ever larger.

One Cotoneaster removed and one trimmed back.

Shuffled into position in its new pot, and given a final trunk scrub for lichen removal.

I recently acquired this stunning Mikawa Yatsubusa maple from a fantastic lady, and it was unfortunately dropped, the pot was broken but the tree was fine and was defoliated. This was towards the end of June. This shohin tree has a magnificent trunk, great ramification and a superb shape.
